Awesome Night at Hall of Fame

Last night at Crown, 7 new inductees into the Sporting Australia Hall of Fame included Awesome Foursome member Drew Ginn and racing great, Gai Waterhouse… Each year SAHOF also inducts one legend and this year the great Richie Benaud was posthumously inducted as a legend. His award was accepted by his wife, Daphne who delighted the audience with her interview with non other than Bruce McAvaney. Kurt Fearnley won the prestigious Don award. The event was hosted by Sandy Roberts and Nicole Livingston. I was fortunate enough to conduct an auction of one item to raise money for the SAHOF mentoring program which supports up and coming athletes. Such is the success of the mentoring program, many of these young athletes have gone on to represent their country at an international level.
