In particular, the Auction was a resounding success and all the monies raised on the night (in excess of $100,000) will be directly used for the Microsurgery Foundation’s research.

After meeting Phil at the Australasian competition in 2011, I sought his help in preparing for the 2012 competitions and my auctions in general. With Phil’s coaching and assistance I won the REIWA auctioneer of the year and made the finals of the Australasian’s 2012.

Women @ the Alfred…..Great lunch at Crown!

The Women @ the Alfred committee did it again. The committee paid for nine of the best male friends to join them for a fundraising lunch today at crown.
Hosted by Seven’s Sandy Roberts many got in the action paying plenty for the auction items. Alan Joyce CEO of Qantas who had donated 2 business class return airfare then upped it to First Class with a prompt from Sandy and Max Grundman “The Krosno King” chewing his ear.
Over 600 people attended the free lunch and raised just under 500k to support men’s health at the Alfred. Congratulations to Carolyn Stubbs and her committee for staging a very special lunch.
