The Rippers held their annual May luncheon at Cottage by the Sea, where 75 guests gathered in a beautiful dining room overlooking Port Phillip Bay. This scenic setting not only enhances the Cottage experience but also serves as a backdrop for children to try new foods, forge friendships, and reflect on their adventures.
Hosted by Rippers Committee members and Cottage Ambassadors Ian Cover OAM and Phil de Fégely, the event brought together familiar faces and welcomed new supporters. The Rippers, established by the Cottage by the Sea Board in 2020, aim to increase program participation by facilitating connections that raise funds and awareness for the children’s charity.
Thanks to the generosity of attendees, a group of children will get to experience the life-changing impact of a Cottage program. Through an exciting auction, raffle and donations the event raised $21,000.00.
