You have conducted the auction at the Caulfield Cup Calcutta in an exemplary fashion for many years. You extract a pool of approx. $40,000 with very entertaining remarks and accurate auctioneering. In the opinion of most people at the Calcutta you are the finest auctioneer we have ever heard and there are many real estate and country people who attend the auction.

Phil, you absolutely killed them! Tony Leonard said you were far and away the best auctioneer he’d ever seen in action and you made 25% of the total raised by yourself – a great compliment.

Tyrrell takes Title!
Friday, 19 July 2013
Jeremy Tyrrell now of the Ray White Group won the 2013 Victorian Senior Auctioneering Competition from the field of 5 on Wednesday afternoon. The result was the same as last year with the runner up title going to Harry Li of McDonalds Real Estate in Springvale. The other finalists: Michael Choi, Toby Parker and Michael Wood should also be commended for their performances.
It has been my pleasure to coach with both Jeremy and Harry who will now go to Perth to represent Victoria in the Australasian Competition in September.
