An auction at a fund raising dinner can be just an auction or it can also be part of the entertainment! You succeed in making it both an auction that brings in the money and entertaining at the same time, both for those who were bidding so spiritedly and also for the rest of the audience.

Great result for RMD House!
Saturday, 20 July 2013
800 people attended the annual Ronald McDonald House Ball at Crown Palladium last night. Hosted by the effervescent, Tim Campbell and entertained Jon Stevens with his band Noiseworks, it was a lively night.
Sophy and Peter Sirr gave a wonderful account of their time in the house with their little boy Patrick spending the first 3 months of his life in the RCH. I conducted the pledge to fund nights in the Ronald McDonald House. $132 is the amount to have a family in the house for a night and we secured an unofficial 456 nights which totals in excess of $60,000. History tells us that although the figure is unofficial, the real figure will be much more. A terrific result !
