The function was extremely successful in raising more than $110,000 and it couldn’t have been done without your willing support. Many people commented on how well you entertained the guests while extracting the best bids for the items auctioned; infact the total was far more than the organisers had hoped for.

The annual dinner for the Royal Flying Doctor Service, titled ‘Going the Distance’ saw the guests go the extra distance when it came to bidding for the auction items. The event, last Thursday night and held at the Plaza Ball Room was hosted by sports broadcaster, Tiffany Cherry. Lord Mayor, Sally Capp also addressed the audience.
